John Campbell, editor of Astounding Science Fiction and later Analog Magazine, served as the show's host. He wrote the science fiction short tale Who Goes There?, which was eventually adapted into the iconic monster film The Thing. He was also a science fiction author. Campbell had prior experience in science fiction. Every week, Campbell would open and close the program with philosophic remarks regarding the effects of the technology presented in that night's story on people. It's still fun to listen to this podcast. Fans of science fiction will enjoy learning about yesterday's conception of the future in Exploring Tomorrow!
