The Clock
The program began with the chiming of a clock and the voice-over saying, "Sunrise and Sunset, Promise and Fulfillment, Birth and Death, The full Drama of Life is played out in the Sands of Time." The Clock provided plenty of frights despite not being a strictly horror programme. We adore O'Henry's sardonic turns! The program debuted in Australia and ran from 1946 until 1948.
