From 1943 until 1947, Mutual broadcast The Weird Circle in syndication. The New York City-born series was syndicated by Ziv Productions. There were made 78 episodes. There were all kinds of spooky stories presented, including versions of well-known classics and eerie hauntings. The Fall of the House of Usher, The Tell-Tale Heart, Frankenstein, The Werewolf, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are just a few of the more popular classic tales that have been featured, however many other less well-known terrifying tales have also been told.
