From 1942 through 1962, suspense, radio's premier theater of thrills, was broadcast on CBS. Due to the greater overall quality of the series, which focuses primarily on crime drama, the episodes with a horror theme are a real treat. Even though 945 episodes were broadcast, today there are only roughly 900.
